Roger H. Morris, CLU®, ChFC®, joined New York Life in 1980 after 18 years as a high school teacher and administrator. Although Roger has worked for more than 30 years with Small Business owners to address their personal and business needs in the areas of Executive Benefits, Retirement, and Financial Planning, his current focus is Transition Planning.
Roger earned his undergraduate degree at Wayne State College in Nebraska. He completed his Masters at Cal State University at Fullerton and pursued his postgraduate study at the University of Southern California. Roger has served as President of NAIFA, Orange County and has been an active member of the Orange County Estate Planning Council and Planned Giving Roundtable. Roger has multiple qualifications as Agent of the Year for the South Coast GO and is a recipient of the Agent of the Year Award by the South Coast GAMA. Roger served on the Planned Gift Development Committee of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and the Board of Directors for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Orange County. He has been awarded the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award by the Volunteer Center of Orange County. Roger’s personal interests are family, golf, tennis and travel. Jasmita "Jessie" Patel, CLU®, LUTCF, has been an agent with New York Life since 2006 and R H Morris Group since 2008.
Jessie grew up in Southern California and has clients all over the United States. Jessie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with emphasis in Marketing and Management from Chapman University in Orange, California. Marc has been helping his clients with important financial decisions for the past 14 years. Marc has always approached his work with a team perspective so, as the newest member of R H Morris Group, he is a good fit.
Marc's objective is to help his clients clarify and protect what matters most to them. Realizing this objective not only strengthens his relationships and those of his clients, but is also a source of joy for Marc. Marc has served on the boards of Working Wardrobes and the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation and enjoys volunteering at the local Elks Lodge where he is a member. Marc's top priority is quality time with family and friends. Marty is a retired New York Life agent and is currently an Associate Financial Advisor with R H Morris Insurance and Financial Services.
Marty has worked with owners of closely held businesses for more than twelve years in the areas of employee benefits, retirement, and personal planning. Her approach has emphasized a team effort with other professional advisors in building effective strategies for her clients. Marty has served on various community and professional Board of Directors. During her tenure as chairman of the CHOC Padrinos board she facilitated the funding of an endowed gift to the NICU. She has served on the Orange County board of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. She currently volunteers on Vanguard University’s Business Council, mentoring MBA students and developing the Speakers Series. Marty has recently begun working with Passkeys Founder, Russ Williams, in the development of the Ethical Edge Leadership Forum, shaping a culture of integrity and character in personal and professional lives. She earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her passions include tennis, golf, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
